Jeanne Isaacson

Jeanne Isaacson is an innovative designer with 28 years of experience in the field of architecture. Her strength is in developing dynamic creative solutions that are both unique and relevant to the specific program and context. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with honors from the Cooper Union School of Architecture in 1983. Prior to opening her own firm in 2000, she has held the position of Project Designer in several highly regarded firms which include: Rafael Vinoly Architects, Amelio Ambasz Architect, Kim Wang and Associates, Architects, (prior partner at I.M. Pei), Allenbrook Benic Chaika, Architects ( prior partners of Beyer Blinder Belle), and Lauren Ostrow Interiors. 

Over the past 15 years since opening her own practice, she has partnered and collaborated on several projects with other Architects and Designers, some of who include: Daniel Koplowitz Architect (The preservation Design Group), Steven Zirinsky Architects, and Edith L Rock Interiors.

At the present she has formed a partnership with Christina Weppner Architect as the architecture firm “The Architexture Studio”. 

Jeanne has designed and supervised all aspects of a variety of architectural projects both commercial and residential, some of which include the following: The Whitney museum Store, Chin Chin Restaurant in NYC, which received note for excellence in design and cuisine through the NY Times, numerous apartment renovations & combos, lobby & hallway renovations, town houses, residential homes, office space, as well as unique design and detailing of custom cabinetry, furniture, and lighting fixtures.

Publications and awards include a featured project in Metropolitan Home, a featured project in “The Education of an Architect” a Rizzoli publication, The “George Ledley Prize” for Excellence in Design, and was a selected participant for an interschool symposium sponsored by Skidmore Owings and Merrill Architects, titled: “Reimagining The White City”, a 100th anniversary commemoration of the Chicago World Fair.

While working with Raphael Vinoly Architects and Amelio Ambasz Architects, she worked on two competitions that earned awards for “Honorable Mention”.
